Vintage – Old is the New New

Recently, a new trend has emerged throughout the Netherlands: vintage clothing. The utmost place where this trend is visible is at the IJhallen in Amsterdam, the Netherlands’ largest flea market. Here, we asked people about the values vintage clothing features in comparison to mass production clothing. Together with these people’s opinions and Ms Tenbült – an expert in consumer behavior at the Erasmus University – insights, we illuminated the secret of this trend: old is the new new.
